We discussed my debut novel, The Shopkeeper of Alsace, regarding the writing process, research, our shared love of history, and my novel’s heroine, Sarah. Although the book is fiction, it’s heavily based on a true story shared with me by Sarah’s family. I’m so honored by that - and so delighted now to share this beautiful tale with readers.
