Join Laura Knoy, former host of NHPR’s “The Exchange,” for an inspiring conversation on her transition to fiction, writing her debut novel based on a true story, and the road to publishing. Many of us know Laura Knoy as the founding host of New Hampshire Public Radio’s “The Exchange,” which for 25 years was the state’s most widely recognized and respected radio news program. Today, Laura is an in-demand interviewer, moderator, narrator, podcast host - and now author of her first novel, “The Shopkeeper of Alsace," based on one woman’s true story set between World Wars. Join Laura for an intimate conversation on her transition from non-fiction (journalism) to fiction, and her seven-year path toward publication. From writing those first pages to signing a contract with a publisher, it has been quite a journey. This free, in-person session is designed for writers, would-be novelists, or anyone interested in a great story. Registration required.
